Our UCR filing services ensure compliance with Unified Carrier Registration requirements tailored for fleets with 101-1000 power units.
Unified Carrier Registration (UCR) is a federally mandated program that replaces the Single State Registration System (SSRS). Under the UCR Act, individuals or companies involved in interstate travel must pay an annual registration fee based on the total number of vehicles in their fleet.
Annual UCR registration is required for any Motor Carrier, Broker, Leasing Company, or Freight Forwarder operating a commercial vehicle weighing over 10,000 pounds, transporting placarded amounts of hazardous materials, or carrying more than 10 passengers (including the driver) across state lines. Additionally, Motor Carriers based in Canada, Mexico, or any other country operating in interstate or international commerce in the United States must also comply with the UCR Agreement.
